| Wow its been a while, the thing is I usually don't like to write anything on here unless I have something good to say.
Well life is going well, I am out of debt officially today, can I get an AMEN! I've been working with a really talented piano player and we're collaborating on some of my original tunes, trying to get enough songs for an album then get my but in a studio.
I've been performing quite a bit here and there, which has been fun. I love being able to do what I love to do and get paid for it. It's a wonderful feeling really. I still work for Friday's, its a job, what more can I say. I'll most likey be moving out of my apartment and God willing into a condo with my sister and her best friend. Which would be a smart move on all of our parts. Trying to lose wait as usual but I'm actually going to the gym and eating healthier, which has been hard since I do work at a restaurant. I've been leading worship for the past 4 years at the University of Miami Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship Services, which has really helped me be grounded in my faith, or more like keep me from going off the deep end in sinful behavior. I have an accountability partner who's amazing and we meet once a week to discuss how we've been doing, now I understand why having one is sooooo important in my walk.
God has been so incredibly amazing to me. And I'm thankful and greatful for all my friends and family, even the ones I haven't kept in the best contact with, know that I love and care for you deeply and your always in my thoughts and prayers. Love you all peeps, and Please holla at a chick. | | |
| So life has been going quite well. Aida is going beautifully, and its been getting great reviews. My part is really tiny but who cares its going to look great on the resume and its been an awesome experience. I don't have much time but just wanted to let you folks know how the show is going. | | |
| So ok who's the idiot, me, so I spelled Aida incorrectly, so if you were looking it up and wondering why you couldn't find it, that is why, because I can't spell hahaha! So the correct title of my last post should be Aida, Aida, Aiiiiiiidaaaaaaa!!! heeheehee! Let's see what's new... still trying to save money for when I move out. I'll be moving in hopefully by August. The trip to Europe is a three week trip, and we'll be traveling to Italy and Spain, so I'm sooooo excited. I'll be going to Spain and Italy with some of the greatest people I know, It's going to be awesome, I'll have to buy a digital camera, cuz this is one trip I'm going to take a million pictures of. | | |
| So I have this amazing opportunity to be in the broadway musical Eida, which will be showing at the Performing Arts Center in Downtown Miami in November. I'll be apart of the chorus as well as a small 16 part ensemble that sings with the lead character Eida. I'll also be traveling to Spain with a Jazz Band, which is just amazing! God has been blessing me with amazing opportunities. I'm so very thankful for the people he's placed around me. Please keep me in your prayer that my eyes remain on HIM, and for a hunger and desire for HIS word. | | |
| So I am officially approved for the apartment my roommate and I have applied for, yaay! Now we wait to hear back from him to see if we can move in by May. So please pray that the current tenants move out already haha. Umm what elso is new, well I'm going to be actively involved in Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at the University of Miami. I'll be the designated praise and worship leader. So I have to put together a band and everything, I want the band members to not only be good musicians but have real relationships with Jesus, so please pray that I use wisdom in the putting together of the band. I still work for Fridays haha, and I'm doing well, I make like $500 a week, which is how I got approved for the apartment, cause Lord knows my credit is horrible. I'll be taking two classes over the summer at UM so I can finally get the diploma I've worked hard for. I'm taking an Intro to Acting Class and English Lit. I have a gig coming up in May for mothers day which will be nice to make some extra cash. I guess that's all that's new for now. Till next time folks!
